The Traditional Path We All Follow
Here is the traditional path that we all follow to become independent and earn money:
The path we all secretly want to follow is hidden. At some point in our lives, we've planned it or simply dreamed of it—the path to a different YOU.
To choose that path, we need:
Clarity on what we really want to pursue
Courage to fight against the dictators of the traditional path. Because that’s their business, their income. Schools and universities make big money even in thriving communities.
And we need to learn a new path that we want to follow.
Are you ready to choose differently?
The first and most important question you need to ask yourself is: Can you fight against this?
If your answer is truly yes, then whatever I’m about to say will have meaning for you.
You are about to walk a path where you will be alone. There is no one to guide you or hold your hand. Because as you step onto this path, your guidance system will go down. You know why? Because around you, no one has really done it. Neither your teachers, nor your parents, nor your friends. For a moment, you will realize you are alone. But in a true sense, you can become your own guiding star.
This is the era of information. You can find a YouTube guru, a specialist who has done remarkable work in the path you want to follow. For instance, if you want to become a chef, follow and learn from the greats of the game, read books, try your recipes, and keep going. As for loneliness, you now have a mentor, a friend, and a guiding star.
Tackle any resistance in your way
The fight against resistance is not physical. You can’t physically stop your parents, siblings, teachers, or friends. This is not a boxing match where you will display strength.
So, what is real strength here? It can be anything—it can be your logical approach, a video from your mentor, or you can make a dish and show them your talent. Remember to learn how to convince people in whatever way the opposing person understands. Everyone has their own language. Use that exact language to make that person not only become your well-wisher but also turn that resistance into your support. Take leverage—any leverage—you can.
The resistance is small but so is the admiration
I have hardly seen a person choose to be a villain instead of being a hero. So when you decide to step onto this path, you are putting yourself against everyone who has followed the traditional path. Be careful—you’re going to fail, face criticism, and get hurt along the way. This is the price to pay. The only thing that will help you here is trusting yourself.
Gain your trust again and again
Imagine you are in a dark room and you hear a thousand familiar voices telling you to do the exact same thing. Then there is one little voice in your head—your own voice—telling you to do the opposite. What are the chances you will listen to yourself? Low, right?
But there is a way—you will hear yourself if you are 100% sure. You are sure that whatever you are hearing is nonsense and you are doing exactly the right thing.
Listening to yourself doesn’t always mean success
Like everything else in life, there is an equal chance of success and failure in whatever you do.
But how can you trust that what you decide will lead to success? It won’t do you any good if you follow your heart and end up failing, right?
So how can you make sure you succeed?
You can never be 100% sure. But proper planning and research will either make you successful or prepare you for failure so that you can execute and follow the next path you decide for yourself.
Here is the blueprint to prepare yourself:
Understand all the risks.
Brainstorm using ChatGPT.
Learn and listen about your idea before planting the seed in your mind.
Analyze and do unbiased research.
Ask as many questions as you can before making a move.
Learn from real people and experienced individuals if you can.
Once you have evaluated all the risks, you can start your journey. But make sure you stick to the right path—the path where you utilize lessons learned from your mistakes and use them to travel on a road with no roads.
Remember:
“If you can learn to make your own mistakes, you have begun the journey of unstoppable potential.”
